Free Learning: Empowering Students Through Choice In The Classroom

Free Learning is a novel way to disrupt traditional classroom paradigms. Based on the sport of free running, it challenges students to find their own unique way through a landscape of learning opportunities. Over the past 18 months, ICHK have been developing Free Learning into a key curriculum component, using it for both student learning and teacher development.

This presentation will take a look behind the scenes of this process, explore the benefits gained, and suggest ways that your school might be able to make use of Free Learning.
