Lessons From a Tech Classroom: Creating Authentic Learning Experiences

This interactive presentation will showcase the use of the design process and project-based learning in a high school Technology classroom. Participants will have an opportunity to collaborate on a design challenge, which will enable them to see engaging and exciting nature of hands-on learning first-hand, and examine the cross-curricular learning opportunities within PBL.

Potential challenges pertaining to PBL will also be discussed as well as strategies for successful implementation of PBL in the classroom.
